Winter Storm Warning | Dec 23, 2022 – Dec 26, 2022
With severe snow forecast for this weekend we are advising you of the Conservancy’s plans for the parks during this time:
The Conservancy buildings will be closed Friday December 23rd through Monday December 26th.
However, our available Staff will be working during the mornings of the 23rd, 24th, and 26th to remove snow from priority areas including, park entrances, park parking lots, main walkways, and where possible internal park pathways.
With the predicted frigid and freezing temperatures, the safety of our Staff is critical. This weather can also affect the equipment needed. We will do our best with available resources to address storm accumulation, but all efforts are weather dependent.
Please be mindful during this time, if you do visit one of our parks, we urge you to prioritize safety.
