From great white and great blue herons to the site of the long-gone Spire Head gazebo, there are many features to discover in Delaware Park.
Fans of “Gala Water,” as the lake was originally called, are invited to view its sights and learn its history and lore during the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy’s 2nd Saturday Walking Tours Around Hoyt Lake.
Two 90-minute tours will depart from the grand staircase at Lincoln Pkwy and Hoyt Lake.
To ensure a great experience for every attendee, each walking tour is capped at 10 participants.
