Buffalo, NY — Season passes will go on sale Monday, April, 6, for golf at three Buffalo Olmsted Parks (Cazenovia, Delaware and South Park), and the 2015 season will launch as soon as the greens are ready.
“Now that spring is just around the corner, we welcome golfers back and remind our loyal patrons that we continue to offer the most affordable golf in town,” said Stephanie Crockatt, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy’s interim executive director. “Between Olmsted’s three public courses, golfers enjoyed more than 55,000 rounds last year, which is impressive for these city courses. Our mission is park excellence, and we will continue to strive to ensure traditional and value-based golf experiences for all players, all season long.”
After eight years of flat pricing for city residents, and no change in non-resident pricing since 2010, seasonal passes and round fees for 2015 will reflect adjustments to cover continually rising costs of maintenance and course improvements.
A seasonal golf pass will allow golfers to enjoy all three Olmsted courses: Cazenovia Park (9 holes), Delaware Park, located at Parkside Avenue (18 holes), and South Park (9 holes).
Golf passes can be purchased between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park. Three weekend sale dates are also scheduled; golfers can obtain passes at both Cazenovia Park and Delaware Park from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11; Saturday, April 18; and Saturday, April 19.
