BUFFALO OLMSTED PARKS CONSERVANCY IS ENCOURAGING USERS OF PHOTO-SHARING SERVICE INSTAGRAM TO SUBMIT PHOTOS AND “SELFIES” TAKEN AT THE CONSERVANCY’S PARKS, PARKWAYS AND CIRCLES THAT MAY APPEAR ON DIGITAL BILLBOARDS AROUND THE CITY.

Users are asked to post their photo on Instagram and tag @bFLOParks. In the caption, users are asked to include their name, the Olmsted location, what you love about the Olmsted system and the hastag #bFLOParks.

Creative images that best showcase the Olmsted setting will be selected by Olmsted’s Instagram account administrator and added to the digital billboard campaign. Five images will be in continuous rotation.

The photos will appear on four billboards through June 19: along the Kensington Expressway at Bailey Avenue, 2072 Abbott Road, 410 Kenmore Avenue and 533 Amherst Street. The campaign will continue from June 20 through July 19 at billboard locations yet to be determined.

The conservancy maintains Cazenovia, Delaware, Front, Martin Luther King Jr., Riverside and South parks. It also maintains Bidwell, Chapin, Lincoln, McKinley, Porter, Red Jacket and Richmond parkways, as well as Agassiz, Colonial, Ferry, Gates, McClellan, McKinley, Soldiers and Symphony circles.

The campaign is sponsored by Bank of America and M&T Bank.
