Our social responsibility to one another

TODAY’S NEW YORK TIMES HAD AN ARTICLE ON “THE GET OUT PUSH” AND THE LEVELS OF ANXIETY AND STIR CRAZINESS WE STILL FACE.

As the weather improves day by day, the parks, waterways and green spaces will continue to see increased use and density.

What I’d like to see are articles on successful “social responsibility.” Common sense and courtesy are increasingly requisite. Entering week 10, as social creatures we are longing to be out and about. This pandemic has impacted us each differently and we have all made sacrifices, but not in vain, this precious time accounts for something. Buffalo with its mantra for good neighbors should practice what it preaches. So let’s remain considerate and careful.

While legs are stretched, lungs filled, and faces sunned, think of those around you and the sacrifices they too have made. Follow the guidelines and stay safe, smart, and patient. While our parks are free and equally accessible for all, our social responsibility to one another is equally as important.

Thank you Buffalo.
